Data Center Infrastructure
Purpose-built server room and data center environments designed for performance, redundancy, and long-term reliability — from initial rack layout through cabling, power, cooling, and physical security.
Built right, from the floor up
A data center is only as reliable as the infrastructure beneath the servers. Legacy Data Technologies plans and builds the physical environments that house your critical computing infrastructure: server rooms, network operations centers, and enterprise data center spaces, with the same precision and accountability we bring to every commercial project we work on.
We don’t hand off at the rack. Our teams handle the structured cabling, fiber backbone, power distribution, and physical security integration that make a data center environment actually function, and we document everything so the next person who needs to work in the space can do so without guesswork.

Core Capabilities
Rack installation & cable management
Server rack procurement, positioning, and installation — including cable management systems, patch panel buildout, and hot/cold aisle configuration for proper airflow and access.
High-density fiber cabling
Structured fiber backbone for switch-to-switch, switch-to-server, and storage area network connections — single-mode and multimode, fully tested and certified to manufacturer specifications.
Copper & network cabling
CAT6A horizontal and vertical cabling for out-of-band management, KVM infrastructure, and device connectivity — organized, labeled, and routed for long-term maintainability.
Power distribution infrastructure
Coordination and installation of PDUs, UPS systems, and redundant power paths — configured to eliminate single points of failure and support N+1 or 2N redundancy requirements.
Environmental & cooling support
Physical infrastructure coordination for CRAC/CRAH units, in-row cooling, containment systems, and environmental monitoring — working alongside your mechanical teams from the layout stage, not after.
Physical security integration
Access control, CCTV, and intrusion detection for server rooms and data center spaces — biometric readers, camera coverage of all entry points, and audit trails on every access event.
Data center infrastructure is where every other service we provide converges. When the same team that installed your fiber, structured cabling, access control, and network infrastructure also builds out your server room, the result is a coherent environment — not a collection of systems from different integrators that nobody fully understands.
Redundancy Tiers — What They Mean In Practice
Every data center environment is designed around a redundancy model that matches the organization’s uptime requirements and budget. We work to the standard that’s right for your operation — and we document exactly what was built so there are no assumptions when it matters most.
Tier I
Basic
Single path for power and cooling. Suitable for organizations with planned maintenance windows and tolerance for occasional downtime.
Tier II
Redundant components
N+1 redundancy on critical systems. Most common for mid-size enterprise environments requiring improved availability.
Tier III
Concurrently maintainable
Dual power and cooling paths. Any component can be serviced without taking the facility offline. Standard for regulated industries.
Tier IV
Fault tolerant
Full 2N redundancy. A single failure anywhere in the infrastructure cannot cause downtime. Required for mission-critical operations.
